Shocks and suspension help

Hey people,

I recently put some deep dish 18s on my car and then found out that one of my rear suspensions had given up on me. Having said that I also noticed that the drive is really bad and uncomfortable. It feels as if you get thrown around in the car on uneven/bumpy roads. Must be due to suspensions being really soft as they are standard. So am looking to upgrade the shocks and suspensions soon. Have read good things about KYBs and Eibachs off course. I want to know with shocks and suspensions, what else needs to be changed?? as the whole current setup is standard. I've done a search and have come across tension rods and struts etc being mentioned but ain't got a clue what they are for.

So could someone please put some light on what else needs to be changed when changing shocks and suspensions and what are they for??

Best regards,

Zee..:)

If you stay at standard height then just shocks and springs are fine.

Ive been told that if you go lower you will need front and rear adjustable camber arms and front tension rods.

Mine is 40mm lower and i have all the bits waiting to be fitted so i hope im right.
