A de-limiter (speed) is done by reprogramming the ECU.

A MPH conversion can be done by fitting UK 180mph clocks (the proper way) or soldering in a kmh/mph convertor behind the JDM instrument cluster.

thanks guys hopefully that will help but im not sure keep the info coming ill go have another look at the speedo cheers im supposed to conect the yellow wire from the delimiter/converter to the signal wire in the loom the red wire to live and the black wire to the earth the green wire from the converter then goes to the signal input in the speedo head connector the problem is i dont know which wire is signal etc or which connector loom is which

this is what mine looked like, on the plug nearest the speedo the yellow/green wire had been chopped into so the signal from the speed sensor goes to the converter box and one comes back from it into the clocks

beermonster your a diamond thanks very much what about the live and earth???? thanks again

well looking back at a thread i posted earlier about taking the limiter out here it would seem the black=earth taps into the black cable on the same connector, and the red=live one onto a connector on the right hand side.
