After seing Jimmys New 2 tone paint job, and watcing the progress of Allans, and the demise of Uno's Zed, some thing sprung to mind....

 

I saw in a picture of Allans that he (you) decided to keep the shuts one colour, why was this, surely to get the proper two tone look you would mask off in the doors and the boot to get the proper look would you not? or am i mssing something?

 

Jimmy did you go for this too? if so why was that? is it just easier to (read cheaper) due to not having to mask up the insides as well?

 

If you did you go for asking hte doors and completing the two tone inside the car as well as out side do youhave any pictures....

 

Same Quesion to Uno i suppose.

 

Pleae dont take this as a dig the two tne looks amazing i was just chatting with another member about this the other day, and just thought i'd be nosy :D

i thought about it but ut would have looked shite as you would have no edge to work to if ya know what i mean, it would just be masked off and a straight line would appear, also you cant see the shuts when closed, i did do under the targa's black

more a question for james300.....he was the man who did the paint job neil...its all but a distant memory for me now :(

im confused i dont get what you mean? the door shuts are silver too coz the doors are silver on the outisde... The bottom of the boot is also silver coz the outside is silver, The top of the boot on the inside however is still silver which it should be black to match the top.... so maybe i will paint the top black in the future. My zed was silver before btw not black.

The Black starts from the windows and goes up though ;) if you know what i mean so when the door is open i thought you might have got them to spray the seals from the window up black.. if that makes sence....?? I knew you car was silver, wich is why i asked if they sprayed the seals black ...:D not explaining myself very well i think

Ah yes now i understand, the inside on the pillar, Well its not visible from the outside so i didnt think it would make a difference, Hmmmm maybe il have them done black then. You gunna do that then?

 

It will look a bit wierd doing the boot shuts black though as being masked off with look messy....

No...well i dunno...was just speaking about doing things with another member and got on to two tone and how much masking up there needs to be done inorder to get it done....

 

Still trying to decide what i wanna do and how much it's all gona cost,..... gutted that i have to do it in the first place TB, it's all very well getting a new wheel and tyre and fixing the broken stuff, as it's all stuff i will do my self but the sprayuing is a big chunk of cash and i'm feeling a little disheartened about it all.....at the moment....

 

I dont really wannago for anything fance incase something like this happens again, or some backs into the car in the car park, or badger or fox runs out and hits the bumper on a million other things that could happen...
