Hi guys, my Zed has some nice 18inch wheels on them, but they are all 8.5 inch wide with an offset of ET38

On the fronts I'm running 225's, on the rears 245's. I was careful to select the correct profiles to keep the right overall wheel size for the speedo.

What size wheel spacers would I need at the front and rear to give my car a better stance and push the wheels out to make it look meaner?

The car is riding standard height & I don't want any rubbing issues.

Any opinions much appreciated.....:duffer:

i personally have 20mm spacers but +45offset on the front and im on the very edge of running into trouble so 20mm and you should be fine :)

Why does increasing the front offset above +20, mean problems? i would have thought the only time you would get problems is if the wheel was moved into the car, as it could rub against suspension or bodywork.

The reason i ask is i will be looking at changing my standard 16" to some new 19".

Thanks for any input. sorry for hi-jacking

Regards

Kev

Hey mate I think with ET 38 on 8.5 inch rims you would want approx 10mm spacers front and back and it should fill the arches very nicely might even go 15 at the back. Although try the 10 first. I have some 10mm spacers if you want to borrow them and give it a go.

I have ET35 9's front and back and they fill the arches fine with 245 and 265.

Cheers bud

good point... with 8.5" rims 15mm will be too much

Thanks guys, I will try 10mm first then look at 15mm for the rear...

I can't lower the car cos it barely makes it into the garage as standard!
