February 26, 200916 yr When you say 110mph, I take it it's a 180mph speedo? If that's the case then you still have the Japanese limiter on it. There a a couple of ways to remove this, 1) fit a de-limiter box, cheap 'n cheerful 2) have your ECU socketed and chipped (normal spec chip if you wish) and that'll remove the limiter properly for you and not going to go wrong like a de-limiter box could. There are a couple of people on here who will do the ECU for you if you ask HTH Dave
February 26, 200916 yr Author The speedo dial only as a max 110mph on it .then mph are around the outside in big letters/numbers and kilometers run underneath in small letters/numbers . wolveszx
February 26, 200916 yr becuase somebody has just replaced the KPH face with a MPH face. THe original face would of gone to 180kph, with is 110mph (Imports are restricted to 110mph), so somebody replaced the face instead of converting it properly. The more popular option is to fit a KPH-MPH convertor, which alteres the speed signal, so 180kph, then becomes 180mph. You would need to get hold of another set of Jap clocks and a convertor. This does have issues with affecting how the Power steering and Hicas operates as when your doing 70mph, the ECU still think syour doing 70kph. Its not a big issue but the steering will feel lighter than usual. Alternatively a much better option is to fit a set of UK Clocks. They are nicer looking, dont cause any other issues and the oil pressure and boost guages also display in a more readable PSI.
February 26, 200916 yr Author Cheers for explaining that Legrath so my speedo is reading the correct speed then. The worst part is finding out it maybe restricted how cack is that. So what sort of cost for all the above do you think I will have to pay. wolveszx
