February 24, 200916 yr Hello all. I've done a bit of searching but still no joy here (sorry if I missed an obvious topic) I'm having problems with my clutch. The car is currently in a garage and they are struggling. I knew from the previous owner that the clutch master cylinder needed replacing, so what I have done is buy a replacement from SWZ Parts. That was fitted and they discovered the slave was leaking too, so I replaced that one today. The system has been bled, but the fluid still isn't getting to the transmission (I think that's what he said to me!). What else can be done other than the master / slave cylinder? Cheers! Ruan.
February 24, 200916 yr THese cars are a pig to bleed... you might need to keep trying, i think i've read of ppl bleeding them 5 or 6 times to get all the air out...... HTH Neil
February 24, 200916 yr Author Cheers for that Neil. They have bled it through a few times. He's just been on the phone to me and the Master cylinder that SWZ Parts sent me is different internally to the one that was on there in the first place, and was also full of water (no idea how he didn't notice that) So he's gone to try again. Fingers crossed, eh?
