Does anyone here have the piece mention above?

Mine is broke and someday i wont be able to open the car..

I read late models have a metal part instead of plastic if anyone as any spares to sell i would be really apreciated.

I just need that bit coz i got new locks but them bits didn't come with it :(.

Cheers

think you'll be very lucky to get one of them on it's own as you're about the thousanth person with this problem :( DOn't believe the metal ones are abailable anymore either. You have to get some more handles/locks and specify you want the plastic piece included.

oh man that sucks! :(

Just got new lock barrels 1 week ago..

Theres loads of zeds goin for brakes lately was hoping to get them bits from one of them.

If you're wanting a new one, you have to buy the complete handle assembly. I am sure there are a few breakers on here with one.

Mine snapped and I was fortunate to be able to get hold of a metal replacement from a friend.

Someone on the forum needs to start manufacturing the metal replacement - they would make a fortune....

problem is I'd imagine tooling charges would be a stupid amount :(

I would be appy with a S/H metal one if i can get hold of one.

You never know.. faith is the last one dieing you know ;)

mines knackerd too, but im thinking if you install remote central locking and no longer use the lock barrel would you get away with not replacing the plastic clip? or would the operating rod need to be connected to the barrel still?

You'd need to fit a solenoid in the driver's door if you were doing that. Easy enough to do though.

my yellow plastic clip snapped in two and I put a steel washer on it and araldited them together, that was six months ago and is still holding so maybe it would be a tempery fix.I find zed locks need plently of wd40 to keep them free from sticking so hope this helps plus of course you could use the nearside lock plastic clip and open and lock the passengers door from the inside.
