1/4 glass repair anyone?

Hi,

 

Anyone have any ideas to repair the rubber flap that sits over the bottom moulding on the rear 1/4 windows? Mine have just perished away over time and even the spare UK windows I have are the same :(

 

Only ideas we have so far is to make it up out of an epoxy/filler and paint it or make a flap from a piece of rubber and glue it in place.

    Hi Paul, yeah that's what Scott (bodyshop) suggested so I'm getting an innertube tomorrow. Just wondered if if there was a neater way

    Worth a go, should look fine if done carefully. The problem is that even replacing with 2nd hand means they have to be cut away from donor car (which is a pig of a job to do) , so no guarantee you'll get them perfect, and they are very expensive from Nissan.
