Got the PAS ECU plug a few days ago.

Cheers for the freebie!!

Looks like the HICAS ECU has a bit of a hissy fit when it can't see the engine one. Going to convert to an NA unit instead.

John Will an NA pas ecu keep the steering at a constant feel instead of the soft at slow speeds and harder at fast speeds? my hicas is bypassed and im not sure what im suppose to do with the ecu.

No, its the same as the TT system, speed related.

With HICAS bypassed, the PAS should still work OK, it's becuase I've removed the engine ECU (I think) that mine is not working. Either way I need the space in the footwell so the NA one is better for me - I have engine ECU, map switching circuitry, exhaust valve controller, water pump controller and wideband unit all in there.
