Is it still The Beast for East, or has someone else taken over?

Any pictures and specifications would be great.

Since none have been on this ball for a couple of weeks, it is to be assumed that this list is the correct list until new power-projects pop up.

Please inform if the list needs to be changed.

All 300ZX enthusiasts should be proud of this !

iam planing another dyno in summer . keep you posted .)

hopefully i will brake into 500ish whp ..

Great, Mikael. Perhaps we see your improved numbers soon, you need joust 17 BHP to be a member of the 500 BHP-division.

Macca has promised to return with performance = 700 BHP which will qualify him into a new division. We can hardly wait any longer..........

This thread is based on facts = DYNOS.

No bullshit, hopes, dreams are qualifying for the top-power-list.

Hi again, Mikael; Increasing from 1,4 to 1,5 bar will give you more than 25 BHP more, I guess. Will you take the chance and try?

(I have seen your internals, and you should not be afraid of increasing up to 1,8 BAR = > 150 BHP increase from current 1,2 bar and 483 BHP)

This will lead you to the top !!:clap::clap:

I was a bit too fast, new try: .....Increasing from 1,4 BAR ut to 1,8 bar will privide > 100 BHP extra = close to 600 RWHP.

An update from Dan Turner of AME is that the 300zx that he's built will be testing and fine tuning for peak performance at Santa Pod within the next week or so. He's expecting somewhere around 800 rwhp ready to race. He will let me know how it turns out. The good news for those who want the most powerful 300 in the UK is .......... he's building it for a customer in Romania so it won't be here for long lol

I think he's better off to keep it on relatively low boost (I'm at 1.2 bar) and use NOS. With the NOS off I'm running over 500 rwhp but there is some lag. With the NOS on however there's hardly any lag whatsoever. As well, it cuts in at relatively high revs and therefore there isn't too much added stress to the engine. Under normal driving conditions this system works extremely well and it enables me to use a fairly standard plug and not risk a colder one which is certain to foul up when not pushing the engine.

Very nice. Although it is built in the UK, it should not be on the list we are listing cars with UK as their homeland. Anyway, we would love to see a dyno with 800 BHP, that is a good inspiration for all of us.

Perfect if you can post the dyno result......:gunsmilie:

Any news about the 800 HP newbuilding, Bodgenie?:clap::clap:

I think there is SMW1's old car, maxed out the dyno at 550ish BHP Flywheel, not sure if the dyno slip is anywhere to be seen though!

I will dig it out.

I will dig it out.

Come on, we are awaiting your results. If you are right, you will be place into no 4 in the "Top list of the the most powerful 300 ZX in the UK".

Be prepared to deduct 10% from flywheel to rear wheel. :devil2:

This was the official list 2 months ago.

There are no changes after that, and DYNOs are of course needed to get into this list. There seem to be many projects out there, but few proven results. So let us hear from :scooter::scooter:you now.................

My little honey is nearly running off to be base mapped in the next few weeks.

Hi Madmax; where on the top 5 list above do you expect to end up? :thumbup1::thumbup1:

I should certainly hope to be at least, 100-150 BHP over all of those. I have to run in and get mapped first. But my build was put together around using NOS and Race fuel so maybe even more????.

My Engine is guaranteed upto 1250BHP from memory and it has had no expense spared on this build. But I am going to a proper race tuning place to do the map and upgrade the fuel and ignition system to complete it.
