Injectors

has anyone fitted injectors from a subaru to their car ?

or from a supra ?

Been looking at different injectors that may be used and was curious to see if anyone had fitted them before :smash:

Scooby injectors will only fit a 94+ onwards fuel rail and having to buy 2 sets might not make them so financially attractive. Depends how cheap they go for I guess.

Not sure what injector type the supra has

Ive seen the MK4 EU spec supra has 500cc side fed injectors, and they look to fit. But they are pretty rare, are ours 370cc ?

Wanna upgrade my injectors for peace of mind, not huge power, so spending 500 quid or whatever is a bit much.

Wanna get a stage 1 remap so would get the correct injector sizes put in so it wouldnt over fuel

a stage one remap (chip) only alters the fueling and timing maps to suit, it doesnt alter boost so you wont need more fuel mate, besides a stage 1 upgrade which usually consists of a Exhaust, filter, Electronic boost controller or boost jets and a chipped ecu still would'nt require a fuel upgrade.

You only need to look at the injectors once your running different turbos mate, the standard 370cc injectors are perfectly acceptable untill

Not what ive read mate, that once your hitting 14psi your on 100% duty cycle, and you shouldnt really do that, you should really only got to 80.

And the injectors in mine are nearly 18 years old, and if im removing them to clean them, i would be aswell upgrading them :D
