Has anybody heard a sharp buzzing sound when the lights are on. Turn the lights off and the sound goes. Very strange. I tried to pinpoint where exactly it was coming from, but failed. I believe its coming from the front left hand side of the engine (as you would look at it from the front) near the PTU location. Thats a guess though.

Any ideas?

It sounds like you have a relay that is on the way out or sticking. In the fuse box behind the near side head light there are headlamp relays just touch each one in turn and you should be able to identify which it is. Then just replace it bud. If it isnt then sorry I aint got a clue.

No guys - I don't have HID's (yet)

Would you believe that after I posted that I would look for and check the relays, there was no sound.... and I checked on two seperate occassions.

Really strange. Hope it stays that way

Give them a tap mate might help you spot the dodgy one, also have a look to see if any have chnaged colour a bit as often when they start to overheat you can see a chnage in colour
