Hicas solenoid and piping Removed – 3kg

NA Pas Pump and Bracket – 2kg

Battery moved to boot – 16kg

SS Turbo elbows and down pipes – 11kg

Fog lights removed – 3kg

Rear

Spare wheel removed – 15kg

Nissan Tools removed – 2 kg

Tailgate weight removed – 2kg

Rear Wiper & Motor removed – 2kg

Cargo blind removed – 2kg

NA Rear subframe & Diff – 35kg

Lightweight Battery fitted in boot + 6kg

160kg total loss

I've not yet started on the wheels, suspension, brakes, but the wheels although larger will be lighter as will the brakes and most suspension parts.

The Cage will add about an extra 20kg though, and there are some Impul skirts waiting to go on. There is'nt really anything else that will have added weight.

very nice mate.

im gunna work mine out a bit with the figures youve posted. hmmmm

Everything was weighed myself as it was removed/replaced.

(Except the subframe as was too heavy to check, but I got that figure from others that have weighed it.)

I’m not really done any weight saving on mine.

Any weight I have saved has been put back on with Ice, Body kit, bling and sound deadening.

Going on your list below I have however removed:

Egr

Prvr

Aiv

carbon

stock boot spoiler

stock air box and ducts

Nosie reduction bonnet lining

Cat’s and heat shielding

Spare wheel and jack etc

Boot carpet

Viscous fan and clutch (that’s fairly heavy)

Done under plenum water bypass

lighter pistons

lightweight flywheel

1 piece carbon fibre diff

Things that have added weight

bigger wheels and bigger tyres

aftermarket gauges and senders

bigger disks

bigger callipers

bigger pads

Front bumper

IC vents

Rear bumper

Side skirts

Spoiler skin

Spoiler

Bonnet bulge

Bigger Intercoolers

Bigger Radiator

Bigger oil cooler

Oil cooler plate

Doolz twin pop inuction

Loads of Engine bling

SS hard pipes

Brake brace bracket (try saying that after a few stella’s)

Front and Rear strut bar

indiglow dials

Leather interior trim

Complete soundproofing

2 x 1600W 10” subs (these are real heavy)

2 x amps

Door components and tweeters with crossovers

Complete boot interior leather trim.

Tripple Pillar pod and 3 gauges

Traction control (ECU weights a bit)

Clifford Alarm (Again ECU is heavy)

SBCID boost controller and power ID (Comes with ECU also)

Delined doors (filler weighs a bit)

Gregg Dupree flexi pipes

Bigger turbo’s

SQL BOVS

Electric fan and mount

Ali pedals

Brushed Ali interior kit

Chrome dial rings

KHM to MPH convertor

That’s all I can think of at the moment.

btw - Electric Drivers seat is 28kg and manual passenger seat is 18kg.

Not weighed electric passengers.

Quite an old one that originally from TT.net, a lot of it is just guesswork though.

no wonder it looks so low on stock suspension,

 Its lowered numb nuts

Should be about stock weight. only extra weight is wheels and the discs all round. also the ARBs & stutbraces

weight lost No cats. aiv+ canester gone, Fogs. plenum bypass thats it

actually your fibre glass bits should save quite a bit of weight.

Yeah but ive added skirts and a rear lip that wouldnt be there. so its swings and round abouts. None of my seats are electic tho lol!!

Surpose you will only ever really notice the weight loss on the 1/4 mile

corners/braking/acceleration saves petrol too

I've got a carbon kevlar bucket seat on a standard 300zx set of runners that weighs absolutely nothing. I was just running stock rear wheels, nothing inside apart from the dash and the kevlar seat and it made the car monsterously quick compared to when everything was in :D

No aircon pump, no carbon canister, pcv valves removed etc, no cruise control either

Adding power only makes you quicker in a straight line, reducing weight makes you quicker everywhere.

You can go to far though and start detracting from the cars comfort and appearance, which is something I have done my best to avoid.

Other than the loss of aircon (was mostly done to aid cooling though for the track and I never really use aircon in my prev zed's anyway) and the different seats you would be hard pressed to tell by looking over it that it had a lot of weight reduction.
