just did the first oil change since I bought the car in september(not driven it in months been stored in the garage) couldn't find the sump plug at first them i realised it was actually the bolt I though it wasn't as it has a cable attatched to it with my other z hasn't. So I presume this would be an aftermarket sensor for pressure as there are no new dials on it. Anyone else seen these? I've seen the filter sandwhich plate ones but not these.

it wont be a presure sender it will be a temp sender, you can messure pressure from that point. You have any aftermarket gauges? If not then you can attach a temp sender and hook up a gauge ;) or has it already got the sender?

I shall do that when I get a bit more time and daylight could put a temp one and a boost one on the a pillar I quite like them. Car is running real quiet now. It's suprising what an oil and filter change can do it was a little tappety on idle sometimes before but now quiet as a mouse. Guess it was overdue for an oil change it was quite dirty.
