saggy clutch!

hi guys. when i picked up my z i noticed that the clutch pedal was very soft and saggy and the bitting point was only about 5mm off the floor. i tried bleeding the clutch by releasing the nut on the cylinder on the wing near the headlamp, pumping the pedal, tighten the nut up, then did the the same on the cylinder underneath the car. it got a little bit better but as i was pressed for time i only managed to do it once so i dont think i managed to get all the air out of the system. now this is where it gets weird!!! i've just topped up my power steering fluid as my hicas light kept coming on first thing in the morning when the car was cold. Since i've done this, the clutch pedal seems to have got a bit stiffer and more like a clutch pedal should feel like! why would this be as i can't see that the power steering would be linked to the brakes.... unless its a citreon in disguise!!! is my car weird or is it just me?!?!

okay, im still having problems with my clutch. the peddle has gone saggy again and the bitting point is probably 3-5mm of the floor with nearly 2" of free play at the top before it even thinks about doing anything. on my way home the other night, the clutch started slipping in 4th and 5th gear when giving it some beans. Is this all related to the bleeding process or is my clutch telling me it needs replacing.... bloody hope not as i can't afford to do it at the mo. im sure i read somewhere on the forum that the air in the clutch line problem can sometimes cause the clutch to slip, but i can't remember where i saw the post. is this correct, or am i going to have to sell my body to medical science to get some money for a new clutch?
