Need to upgrade most of the suspension bits on the zed. Thinking about the Tein Super Streets, which are height and damper adjustable.

Anybody have these fitted and how are they? Did a search but most folk seem to have the Tein Flex`s which seem to be v good but quite stiff.

The general consensus on this forum from what i remember is that the tein are rock solid even on the softest setting and bounce alot. They do give good adjustment especially for track but very uncomfortable for road use

I had Tein SS fitted just before christmas, I cant fault them, much more livable than the ROCK solid Veal coilovers I replaced.

The superstreets are softer than the Flex and other tein versions. They dont have independed height adjustment (height will affect spring rate) but other than that they are not bad for the road.

Veering towards these as looking for adjustable suspension for the odd track day.

Legarth, from the literature it says the kit is height and damper adjustable. "Includes both ride height and damping force adjustment to allow the driver to dial in the suspension for various surface conditions."

Was also thinking about the EDFC, which I know would allow for incar damping adjustment but dont think it will alter height. Quite handy for me as the roads over here in Malaysia vary a great deal.

Yeh has height and damper adjustment, but the height adjustment is not independent unlike more expensive coilovers. Which means as you adjust the height the springs become more compressed.

If your interested in using the car on the track then I would take a look at the SPL Coilovers. http://www.splparts.com Higher spec, better quality and a good price. Very highly regarded in the states by a lot of regular track day users and SPL are the Masters of 300zx Racing.
