I had this exact same problem, any speed bump, slight dip or incline in a road and i was F*******.lol. I measured it and it came at 1" off the ground due to the bumper. This oviously resulted in the bumper eventually being cracked and getting a new one to bring the car to 3" from the ground.

So overall i would recommend that you change your bodykit first, but then i am sure it will work out cheaper to adjust the suspension higher if possible.

When i fitted my strosek front i could barely get on my drive. So it was on for about 2 weeks and then i got a 99-spec and swapped over. Now its back to stock height and its MUCH better. No problems getting on the drive and speed bumps - ha they dont scare me :D

maybe the way forward is hydrolic suspension lol :D:D

The main problem is the front overhang, eg the length of the body in front of the wheels. From the picture it looks like your front is worse than a standard one, so that won't help at all.

not sure what suspesion is onit only had the car 3 weeks ile take a look tomorrow and see what i can do with it

i may just leave for now and avaid anything unessasery

hehe never had any clearance problems with my FTO :D:D

mind you the FTO wasnt as fun to drive :D:D:D:D

You need to do something about your offset too....subscribe would be the first thing you need to do. You won't have to copy/paste into every single reply. It's only £20!!!! :D

Ooo i wouldnt advise buying suspension just to raise it, no way lol

Just leave it how it is until the front bumper gets really bad then replace with something else, like say a nice 99spec front end which actually has more clearance than the pre 99 spec bumpers.

Im sure youl get bored soon enough with the zeemax front ;)

rofl drivers side by wheel arch fixing is already going i think had to put new bolt init :P.

you likey?

i know it looks low but its coz its dropped on very low suspension where the top of the tyre is hiding about 1cm under the arch.

the bumper is urethrane so it will last alot longer and can take a good beating.

Not cheap :( new about £480 from zcentre, but im sure you can find one used on here, they do tend to pop up every now and again and your not in a rush so take your time.

2 have been sold on here this week for about £280-£300

Are you sure it stock? you would'nt really be able to tell by looking at most springs to see if they are lowereing springs or not.

Any more pics of the car from side profile ?

that is NOT stock :D well i dont think it is anyway.

but by golly the front is rather low ol chap so is the rear and the sides.

sorry for the hijack but has mine got stock suspension ???? as it all looks stock on the suspension but like david said might have lowering springs ????
