Thought it best to post this up in the NW section as i don't really wanna travel forever to get to a place, lol.

 

In the not to distant future i would like to get my car on the rollers and see what power its producing. So anyone know where i could have this done. I don't have a problem with travelling, but within the NW would be best :)

 

Also anybody any ideas how much of my hard earned i'll be paying, lol.

 

Also i take it i won't have any problems with it being an Auto will i??? I've never ever had this done before.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Everyone needs to be at the Dyno place at 8am on Saturday 28th Feb.

 

Once everyone has arrived we will then make our way to where we will have breakfast, we will try and get there for 8.30am.

 

After we have all had a belly full of grub and a natter, we will then head back to the Dyno place where we will then get our cars on the rollers and rip the piss out of each others power readings :rofl:

I think i'll be a bit disappointed if it makes less than 330bhp - not at the wheels obviously, but i have no idea what you call it with an auto seen as only manwells have a flywheel.

 

Anyone know what the auto equivilent is???

My old TT Auto came out at 330 ish on a dyno last year, but the dyno was being a bit mental... only rated for 150mph but they just left mine in drive and of course it quite happily rattled of to the end of the rev range in top, around 180 mph haha.

we all have more or less the same state of tune..so may i propose £5 on the table from each runner and highest figure takes the pot,only available to the turbo lads unless some n/a owner has spent a lot of money:rofl:

That had a scorpian exhaust, apexi filter, mines chipped ECU and as far as we could all tell standard boost, but it did feel quick!

My auto would make a good score, especially the torque range, but the new one im not too sure yet, it needs a tune up first

lol yeah 581, thats because of the stupid machine. The dyno freaked out at my auto transmission towards higher speeds, the software is only looking at the highest point on the graph, if you look at the dyno graph you can see each gear, 1st 2nd 3rd etc.

 

Showing full power in 3rd (if you notice my graphs are power vs speed not vs rpm!)

 

So it looks around 330 if you read it the way im reading it

and pritty much everything else that you could do to an engine. Running very rich 14 psi at the moment, and it did a 12.9 second 1/4 mile at santa pod. Should be interesting though. Cant wait.
