ugleeeeeeeeee. I know on those cars they are purely a functional item, but they look like they've been designed by a failed year 12 gsce design/technology student.

lmao!!!!

That's a very very rare extension the non-turbo GT-Z. Everyone seems to go for the TT version. I really like the non-turbo one. I've not seen one this side of the Atlantic.

hopefully watch this space. the reason why is because they want to charge the same amount as the item for shipping!!!!:wack:

Yeah, doesn't suprise me one bit. They are big! Sending those airfreight is gonna cost you. Might be cheaper sending them by sea via USPS or something but they take up such a large area, that you're going to be shelling out regardless.

Might be worth seeing what Danny can do. I know he gets stuff imported from the US quite often so might be able to fit it in with a shipment. Worth asking...which you may have done already.

He's got a rubber extension on his ABFlug bumper.

Fiberglass

If any one has an old stock bumper hanging around im sure i would come up with somthing nice :)

It is? Looks good for fibreglass!!!!!! Especially with it dangling around down there!

I guess I was lucky when I bought a Type III lip over as it didn't cost anywhere near £300 even with shipping! I even bought a couple of large bonnet vents over from Japan and the shipping wasn't extortionate by any means but I imagine it's more down to luck than anything else (plus the pound was considerably healthier then). I'm handling the front bumper of the 2 V8's and the Type III gives just the right look to complement the re-modelled front end (the pic below shows how it currently is, in its unfinished state).

Gaz, speak to Mr.F and see what he can do. IIRC, MJP are/where the official UK agents for Stillen?

that's where I got mine from - nowhere near £400, althought it was before the exchange rates went tits-up ..... might get it fitted this year, along with several other bits and pieces that Neds not impressed about:x:!!!

sell me your one :D

sell me your one :D
:slap:

That would make Ned very happy, but I'm afraid it's very much part of my long term plans for "Betty" - not sure about the rest, wanted Stillen sides, but almost choked when Mike told me the price

Aaaah, plans and more plans - but Ned now uses Zhale as an excuse to keep spending my money!!!!

are thre any available for a 99 spec front end , something subtle like carmads home brewed but gracefull item , i always felt the 99 spec front would benefit from a subtle lip / bumper extension...

is that a turbo lip or non turbo? on the stillen website they look identical to each other ?!?!!?

see now i dont know if i want the gtz or the type 3... does the type 3 come with the slats in the front intercooler ducts. cos i recon on an na without the slats like fridays it would look coool!

GTZ all the way if you're not going for skirts Gaz. I do like the Type 3, but, IMHO, you NEED skirts with to fill the car out so the dropside contours match.

The GTZ also gives you a slightly thicker line below the bumper inkeeping with a stock recess line. They work well with Kaminari/Powertrix skirts. Type 3 looks good wih Type3 or Impul skirts.

There are I think, but for the 99-spec with a bit more oomph, then look to the Escort racing front bumper. Just such a shame that something so nice is made of fibreglass, but it's very well made by all accounts.

It's based on the 99 front end but has an extended lower lip giving it a more aggressive look. These aren't the most flattering photos of it, but it does look nicer than the 99 bumper, if, in only a subtle way.

see i want to possibly go kaminari skirts and rear bumper extention in the future. what im not sure on is the step between the oem bumper and the extension which the type 3 takes up.

The beauty of the Kaminari sides is that you can space them downwards and keep the recess equal.

As so many people like the stillen lower lip cant the 300zx club buy and import a lower lip from the states get it copied in fiberglass and sell it to members to subsidize the cost.
