Been looking on ebay for an amp or two to run several sets of 6x9's, loked the look of this as it has a cool look to it and also has hight RMS output. what do you lot think??

Would also be able to run one sub off each amp aswell if I got two, freeing up another amp!:nana2:

Just wired in one of those 99p jobies from hong kong and it went pop!

im using inphase amps to run mine each one runs 2 12" subs and a set of 8" components they are not the best amps apparently or so i have read but i have had no problems with them and they certainly go loud enough for me lol

I thought they were ok, cooper-swb had some in his car. looked good

yeah the guy at the bodyshop i use puts them in all his cars that he does i think for the money they are really good just read on the net that some people said they werent that good plus they have just released a new version so you would be able to pick up the old style for a decent price, i paid factory price for mine thats why i got them lol

This is what you want Hertz EP4. Allmost £200 brand new, I have one of these running my 6.5" focal comps and my 6x9 focals and then its smaller brother the EP2 running a small set of 8" subs.

You need to register to view the thread but tbh if your gonna fit it all yourself its worth joining anyway.

I've already signed up to that site, wouldn't you be better running them the other way round?

Already got 4 of there 3000w amps and 4 3000w subs, blown two of the subs though:((will have so see if I can get them repaired) Have replaced those two with 2 15" red legacy subs:)

6x9's I stick to infinity, not sure whether to try their other stuff?

No point really as the the only difference is the EP2 is only a 2 channell and not 4. So if I was to use the 4 channel for the subs I would end up either having to bridge it or waste the 2 channels. I wouldnt bridge it as my JL 8" subs don't need that much power to run them. Its not all about power you know ;-) I like my music to sound like music not just boom, boom, boom as my dad used to say lol

ive got a 4 channel JBL amp.

paid 100 quid for it new?

4 x 100w RMS (or there abouts, cant remember)

2 channels, for each 6x9,

then the other 2 channels bridged for my Sub

LOL I love these make believe power figures from all those amps your posting up.

A TRUE 500 watt RMS amp would rip the piss out of all of them, rip your speakers to peices and give you brain damage.

The main problem is cars dont generate enough power from a 12 volt battery to run anything near those kind of power figures.

I'd rather spend £500 on a proper 85 watt amp that would have surblime sound and huge power than £100 on pretend power ratings and awful sound.

recommend digital designs if you are serious about bass. they have some quad coil subs, though i've only ever installed their dual coils. real fine products. and their better amps will happily run at 1/2 ohm stable!
