OK I have stripped door card off and found a yellow connector thats broken, Dont know where its from? and dont know where the bar from the aftermarket motor connects?? Obviously they connect together somehow? but where?

Heres a few pics off my mobile phone.

The yellow connector is the part that fixed to the exterior door lock.

I cant make out from the pics where the motor is supposed to be fixed to in its current position, but it should fix to the cable that goes to the interior door lock lever next to the open door lever. Its a cable inside a sleeve.

Just had a look again I see what you mean yellow connector connects to cable up near the top where cable joins to its bracket thing?? Then I think the bar from aftermarket motor connects to the other broken bar by a small alan key bolt? Thats what I think anyway! might be able to bodge it??? but not today! If any of that made sense?

OK so I have sorted the alarm locking part so I now can lock the doors which is nice!!! I have super glued and cable tied the yellow clip to the rubber coated cable which I now think doesent go there? but should fit onto the door lock barrel which would mean I do have a door key but yellow clip has snapped! I shall save that for another day! Just getting my spare motor up and running for the wife as her people carrier and I are no longer friends!! I swear it breaks on purpose so I have to waste money on it!
