I'd sooner stick a stock airbox on than that thing.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Is that like a box of junk you found in the roof or something? :rofl: ;)

That blue album is 'Sky' isn't it.

hmmmm interesting so they make one for a 6cyl turbo but there illegal lol

I fail to see how any air filter can be illegal. They just look like something that boyos fit to their fezzas. Looks like something for a FWD NA type application. They remind me of Pipercross's 'Viper' filter. Looks very gimmicky.

You not thought of getting a slashgaurd fabricated for yours?

slashguard sound like a better idea to me lol

Slashgaurd? Do you urinate on it? Maybe you need a toilet mate! LOL

You tell us Si :x: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

No they're not. They are trying to...but failing. I'm just typing as if I need my cataracts removing as well as my boxing gloves.

Oh well rather you than me, i hate it when i can't sleep, luckily it dont happen often.

Matt if you are interested in making yourself a splashguard do some searching mate and you will find it has been discussed on a few occasions. One idea was a plant pot cut in half :)

I'll find some links. There are a few on the US forum that I know of. But I'll do that tomorrow after I have awoken from the dead.

IIRC, DTA is looking in getting some custom splashgaurds made up.

In the short term anything in there to stop water splashing 'up' to the filter will suffice. I have my stock splashguard but even a bit of cardboard painted with PVA glue will help you out a bit??? Cut up a couple of plastic buiscuit tins, or the side of an old oil can and make something up??

Id also whip the maff and filter off and warm them in the oven for a bit on a low heat to get rid of any residual wet or damp....
