Im thinking of staying the uk for another year and nows the time to bring in a 99spec. Does anybody have any idea how much a tidy example is going for, looking for a SWB TTop manual TT. Anybody seen one go recently?

the LWB was around 13K with all the duties etc :wack:

i was hoping for 5-6K not too fussed about spec as long as the car is sound

I did not look that closely but your right, everything else seems right, maybe someone just wanted the origional style spoiler, but I would definately check the chassis number out if I was interested in buying to make sure.

Something not quite right about that car. Certainly the spoiler is the wrong one.

Isn't that strange?

My 'old' series 5 '98 SWB had the same type spoiler. Maybe it was an option to have the original type?

I have a video of mine in 1999 when it came to the UK and it had the spoiler on then so if it was changed in Japan, it was changed in the forst 12 months of ownership:smash:

Wierd!

There were different versions of the late models. Verson R and Version S, but, even being a TT, it should have come with the 99-spoiler on.

spoilers were "optional" on many of the later cars.

So maybe some owners "opted" for the earlier look spoiler.

Ive check this cars vin on my nissan fast program and it is a 99spec. The stereo shroud had 3 different typres, standard black trim, carbon fiber and wood grain. Ill do another check and get some more information if anyone is interested.

yep, what Ian said. If you want a SWB newer than 96 then it will be a slicktop.
