Well setting off to Romania today (:wack:).

With a broken laptop, the top brass really think in strange ways.

 

Nice wind down for the Christmas holidays and just pray I don't get snowed in.

 

Least one good thing, cheap cigs and beer for a few days plus bring some back for the festive period :nana2:

I am off to a place call Iasi right on the border to Maldova.

 

Iasi International Airport..... 1 none domestic flight a day :wack: and the airport is about the size of a double garage :rolleyes:

Sounds like Skopje airport in Macedonia. It only has 1 gate.

My cousin went out to Romania after the overthrow of Nicolae Ceausescu (SP?). I think that happened in the late 80s and she went over in the early 90s

 

She's did volentary work in some of the orphanages there. Saw some very interesting and heartwrenching photos of her time out there.

 

Be interesting to visit. One of the few countries in Europe I've yet to visit.
