Well, it was the battery, and it's down again - so can anyone please recommend a gooooood battery ? If I have to replace it, might as well get a good 'un :)

Make sure you get the correct size/fitment - 068 or 088

 

Otherwise the battery will be too small/large for the battery tray and terminals will be wrong way around.

just get the number off the battery in your car and go to either halfords or your local motor factor and compare, the same number means it has the same size and fittings

Well that is what it says in the varta book, i cant tell you if is a perfect fit because ive got a cheap one in mine...... till it dies:rofl:

Don I got mine from Treadfirst in Diss 01379 651976 - an E23 Varta Blue Dynamic and it fitted no probs at all.
