With standard downpipes it's easier form above.

Remove the battery to get easier access to the passenger side one. Drivers side is much more difficult.

You can get a special crows foot tool to make it easier, but be warned they will be on there solid so you need a nice leverage bar to hit the crack.

forget it it they will be seized in solid, better off taking the elbow off the downpipe and use oxy heat on em lol cos they are a pig when seized in .

What a tw@t of a job. I cannot seem to get to them in anyway.

How do you get the elbows off??

4 Bolts from under the car.

Unless you have upgraded tubs in which case it will be 5 bolts.

Soaked them in brake fluid so fingers crossed and i have also made a custom tool. Hopefuly it will do the job :slap:

Ok heres how i did mine. Same as smw really BUT..... on the passenger side you can smash the top of the sensor then you can put on a nice socket and crack the fooker off :D

Drivers side is a bugger tho but it should come off, mine came off complete with the boss haha. :D you will need a crows foot for that one unless you think u can smash the top of that one too :D

Make sure they really are duff first! Thought one of mines was but it turned out to be green oxide in the connector.

I have a small question, this week I have de-catted the Zed, and I don´t know if I put the o2 sensor in the wrong way...

Is the same o2 sensor right and left, are interchangeable?

Thanks

There is no wrong way or a right way :)

Strangely enough, the do actually have different part numbers. I've recently bought 2 new OEM Nissan ones and put them side by side expecting one harness to be longer than the other. Nup, both indentical.

The O2 sensors are not in the cat/decat pipes. That is the heat sensors.
