I have a Road Angel unit on test at the moment, which is one of those GPS speed camera/accident blackspot warning things biggrin.gif

http://www.blackspot.com/

too early for me to say at the moment what i think, as its only been on for 100 miles and i only passed 4 cameras, but it will be getting more use wink.gif

These units retail for £379. I was at Blackspot yesterday and found out all the info.

They wont do group buys or quantity discounts for anyone, but they will do a bundling offer biggrin.gif

They have offered to bundle the Road Angel and the Snooper SLD 920 Laser Blinder together for £579, saving £90 on the Blinder price effectively (RRP £290)

http://www.snooper.co.uk/laser_blinder.htm

The reason for the bundling is that you can interface the blinder to the Road Angel so that you get alerted from the same unit, and you can add the trap location to your Road Abgel database if you know its a regular spot...

My unit is on loan/demo, and is not subject to getting a load of you to buy it, so i do not get a free unit or anything like that.

I just offered to let you all know about it and the deal they are offering.

Anyone going to Slough at the weekend will be able to see it.

Excellent I may look into the purchase of the road angel if you go well with it.

blinder is probably a bit to dodgy though, reckon the police would take your license if they caught you using it

Mike, i've got and had the blinder for a while now, and its not really illegal to emit light at the moment... no licence required wink.gif

you are not damaging or jamming their equipment either, as they send you light, and you send it back again wink.gif

you might be perverting the course of justice, but i cant see that one sticking in court, to be honest

Yea they look a good piece of kit Craig, was looking at them at Billing.

KEEP IT SIDEWAYS!

Craig,

Will they also bundle in a car which is capable of breaking a speed limit ? If so then I'll be interested.
