You sure it aint the rubber stops sat a touch high?

there is give in the bonnet when you push it and it rattles when you drive , or squeaks should i say

iff you have a push switch for the alarm then this can catch on the bonnet...mine did and a needed to hacksaw 5mm of it

if it rattles, its not touching the stops and they need raising

between stops and catch engaged is about 8mm. as it sits now the bonnet is too high stops look to be at the correct height when you press the bonnet closed

put a little tipex or black paint on the stops and close the bonnet, if when you reopen its on the bonnet then yeah they should be ok, i have seen a write up somewhere about redrilling holes and locating the catch a little lower.

Zeds of Dallas website i think

Has the car got a front strut brace.seen quite a few where the brace sits to tight against the sound deadening and holds the bonnet off the catch.

it had a strut brace before I bought it but nothing now

There is abit of elooooooooooooooooooooooongation in the catch bolt holes.Just slacken them off a touch and tap catch assembly down an nip em up.Sorted. If it still wont go down enough just dremel the holes abit more.Adjust rubber stops till your happy.

Hey mate mine had been jacked up by some t^&t under the rad ad so sat proud. If you undo the bolts on the catch you have about and inch worth of adjustment.
