When you say no brake lights are out, how many do you have? You should have 2 on each side and also the spoiler light (not sure if this is monitored by that warning light though)

On mine the inner two brake lights had been disconnected and one used as a fog light, is yours similar?

I haven't fixed it yet. I will do in the spring. Car's garaged for the winter now. Snoopy wrote me a how2. I'll try and dig it up.

Unlike yours, I get no warning lights and my brakes actually feel very strong.

Found it!

1. Unbolt fluid reservoir from brake booster 12mm socket, (don’t touch any actual brake line fittings).

2. Remove vacuum pipe from front of the booster.

3. Now you'll need a pair of long nose pliers for this, Get your head under the dash you’re looking at the top of the brake pedal, you'll see a pin connecting the pedal and booster, you need to remove this pin. Using the long nose pliers remove the small spring clip holding the pin in place then slide the pin out.

4. Now you should see 2 bolts bolting the brake pedal bracket to the bulkhead remove these, 12mm socket required.

5. Now go back to the engine bay gently pull the brake reservoir away from the booster for clearance then move to one side being careful not to kink or damage the brake lines connected to it.

6. Now the brake booster should be loose and can now be removed.

7. Same procedure to refit.
