Hello people,

Got a bit of a problem here. My twin turbo is acting rather strange. It starts fine, runs fine when driving normal, but when I put my foot down, it just dies out..

It is a manual UK spec which is stalling on me when I put my foot down..

Any ideas what to look at??

I'm not an expert mate, but it sounds like it may be your PTU. The series 1 PTU's had problems that would cause these symptoms.

Check all your loom connections to your CAS, PTU, injectors etc.

Could be a boost leak or poor electrical connection to your TPS or IAV valve. Might just be a vacuum pipe off or perished.

I had this, it turnt out to be the PTU failing but it also could be other things like the guys said
