I put a post up last week about me possibly buying a na zed.

the front discs are probably shot as theres a shaky feeling under braking. how much are replacemnt front discs?

are the headlights meant to be as bad as the one I drobve today? lol how much is a kit to make em brighter?

are there any simple mods that can be done to make car any better

are induction kits any good on them or a waste of time

oh and just one more... the one I'm looking at is a Jap car. should it be on V Power petrol or would normal unleaded suffice as I know the car has been run on normal?

thanks

ps I enjoyed the car the second time I drove it which was today:D

Front discs - depends on brand ofcourse, anything from £50 (ebay) - £200 a pair. A set of Brembo discs would be around £125 the pair

The judder could also be front tension rod bushes. They are gel filled, so check underneath for leaking bushes.

HID lights are about £100 and make a massive difference

NA is no way near as tunable as the TT, but Induction kit (£70), decat (£100), Exhaust (£300), Chip (£100), Headers(£200) , Lightweight crank pulley (£100) give a healthy gain across the range. with more response and an extra 20-30 hp

NA's can often get away with regular unleaded, although if you do the above upgrades you'll want to use V-power.

when i had it today there were no leaks after about 20 mins of it being left stood outside my house?? is the gel a thick gel and if they are goosed can you see it visibly dripping from bushes?

When the bushes go, it basicially looks as if someone's poured Treacle over them. It's not watery, a thick type gel. I believe they are a form of silicone.
