ive had a supposed viral chest infection for a while now, and it gets worse when i get in, i get a tight chest and cough more, went to the docs last week who said i may have a viral infection and that coming home to a house with no floor coverings and a dog may be setting it off, she also said it could take a while longer to clear up any infection, some days its really bad and somedays its fine

ive tried taking anti histermeens when im around the dog and it dont help, i would have thougt that if it was the dog that the anti histermeen would help a bit but it doesnt

i really hope it aint the dog, cause i will have to put up with this for a long time as i wont get rid off riddick (love him too much for that)

any ideas on what it could be, or do you think its the dog and dust, once the wood flooring is down, it will be easier to clean and keep the dust and hairs down, im hoping that it is an infection and that the dog and dust is just making it worse till it goes

pet allegies usually settle down in time. Housedust gets me. Especially if it's been let a while like on top of a cupboard.

if it is ourlass then she is gone, ive been told that you get used to a pet allergy, funy thing is ive been like this for around a month or so now, but ive had the puppy sice august would have thought that if it was the dog i would have noticed straight away

you might have to wear one of these full time mate, but dont worry allan they do them in various colours :rofl:

Hello bud,

If it's Riddick it may be the dander which is on his hair. There is stuff called Petal Cleanse which you basically put on a cloth and wipe his hair down. What it basically does it allow the dander to come loose from his hair and attach to the cloth which you then obviously throw in the wsahing machine. I might have some if you want a bottle sent to you :)

Might be somthing else. have you changed your wasing powder etc??

Allan just for your information..i had a viral chest infection about 4 years ago and it took about 3 months to clear up as there is no medication out there to blast it,it gets inbedded into the lung walls mate

well it seems to be clearing up, looks like the dog aint going nowhere, not that he would have

If your wife has got a face sauna, put a little bit of vick in the water and stick your face in that for twenty minutes, that will sort your chest out.
