pic of H.I.D. xenons difference from Dan @ DTA motor

i have the bi-xenons, took me 2 hours to fit as its on my GTO so i had to take out the pop lights and replace them with Dan's awesome xenons, ive had them for about two months no problems at all, and high beam comes on instantly.

Hi Indian_ZX,

Many thanks for the kind words and excellent pictures detailing the difference the HID's make! I'm glad to see you're happy with it.

Regards,

Dan

Can I ask the price of these, including everything you need to fit etc.

It's something I haven't got on my car and I'm still using the stock candles in glass.

If I can justify buying them before I sell I may well order a set.

The ones for the GTO were the H4 Bi-Xenon kit which retails at £125.00.

For the 300 you'll need H3's which I retail at £91.00 per set plus £8.85 postage. So total cost is a smidge under £100!

Installation is very straight forward. Pull out the old bulb, insert new HID bulb, secure new bulb with spring-clip, connect bulb to ballast, connect bulb to headlight wiring loom (two spade connectors) and the job's done! :) I sell the kits with ZX-specific installation instructions but you can always call me if you get stuck.

Kits that I have available are H1, H3, H4 Bi-xenon, H7, HB3, HB4 - so if you have any other cars then I've got the kit for you. Only caveat is that cars produced after 2001 (like saabs, mercs, bmws, etc) will require our "Ultimate" kit as that kit doesn't interfere with the in-car lighting ECU. Just today I sold a kit to a Porsche customer (2006 Cayenne Turbo S) and the Ultimate kit is a straight fit!

If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me.

Regards,

Dan

PS - more HID info available on http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/hids.php

Thanks Danny I'll have a think about that, seems a good price for what would be a major improvement to the Z. If I get no interest in selling I'll take a set. I'll be in touch.

looking at your zed i would have thought it already looked as if it had xenons as your car look awesome.

it would definatly complete your car with the 100 pounds youd spend itll be a gr8 improvment even whilst you still have the car.
