Just had my tracking checked at a local garage as car has started pulling to the left a bit lately

 

and have been advised my osf lower balljoint needs replacing

the report states (front lower balljoint/wishbone play)

 

can anyone offer some brief advice on the subject and also where i can source the parts etc ?

 

and i take it from my own Knowledge it's prob best not to drive it untill fixed?:mad:

Wear in the lower arm bush is not uncommon, the arm is only sold complete by Nissan at around £200+ but you can buy the ball joint seperate as after market part, check out 300zx traders, they should have them, expect to pay around £40.

ps driving the car with any known suspenion fault is unadvisable, however in the real world it would seem unlikely to be a major problem.

slight update>>

 

Had a m8 who knows a reasonable amount about cars etc ,just look at the car apart from the fact that he confirmed the ^above mentioned bush needs replacing he also noticed the (osf) wheel appears to be leaning in on it self slightly when wheels are straight ? (more noticable at the top)

 

im suspecting this is due to the bearing? (getting changed at nissan thursday)

 

but any further thoughts as to if this could be related or linked to a seperate suspension prob would be gr8
