hello all just a quick one...i recently mod ded my import kilometre clock to mph with a chip...steering tougher but no ping noise etc..however changing my clock face ive broken the needle speedo etc....so ive now bought some second hand mph clocks which im about to fit....my question is should i fit the chip i fitted to my kph clocks? or does it not need it?....thanks as ever all

No, leave the chip off, it's a converter for the clocks only. The pulse the new clocks take from the sender is the same. Just plug n play. :)

is it one of those restricing device thingies off ebay or an ecu chip delimeter? if its one of the eaby ones if you change to uk clocks you wont need the convertor

Hi mate if its an auto or an auto conversion the pinging is to let fat americans know that they have stopped or are in reverse. Just unplug the pinger and bob is your aunties brother.
