Events - UK

The first meet of 2008 will be on Thursday 7 February, this ties in with some of the members wanting to attend the Falkirk cruise. I plan on meeting at the Falkirk football stadium (again)at 19:30. This is relatively easy to find for those travelling from further afield. we can have a natter and those of you who want to nip up to the cruise have plenty of time to do so. Right, I really need to get my car back on the road, i have a second hand Auto box ready and waiting to be fitted so im gonna have a crack at it this weekend. Is there anyone else in the area that could advise or help ????????? I have laid out a little calendar below so meets and events can be pencilled in as and when we know them I rather enjoyed the monthly meets we held last year, was nice to meet new people and see different parts so i would suggest we carry on with that. Now we did it on a rota basis last year which worked well. I ended last years with the longlands at tewit fields so if someone else would like to choose then let me know. Ok i really have been slacking over the last few months and for that i'm sorry, but lets try as a reagion to attend the meets that are arranged, So lets start off with a nice easy one..... a regular monthly meet in a location that i'm sure every one knows, and as the weather will (hopefully) start to improve i hope this will get bigger and the warmer months get closer First Sunday of EVERY month at 3pm. there have been some good meets here so lets get it going again! Okay guys, everyones been a bit quiet and a bit busy i think recently, January and all that.... But now its february in an hour and 20 mins or so i think its about time we got some ideas down as to what we can do this year... I think the monthly sunday meets are still a good plan, nice to see different parts of the country and have some nice meals out so we need to get one booked for Feb! Has anyone got any other ideas? I'm quite fancying going to Jap Fest again this year... and there was talk sometime ago about a rolling road day? And we have the NE+NW Joint meet in April so we've a few things at least. Right guys. Actually something between my friends up here in lancaster, but there are 8 or so of us heading over to the isle of man on the 29th of Feb for the weekend. But i thought i would offer it out on here if anyone fancies it :) Now its up to everyone to arrange their hotels etc but the rough costs we are working of is £126 for ferry (sea cat from Heysham - returning to liverpool) Plus any extras seats/first class and also a fuel supliment. Guy's wtf is going on, every time I try to organise a meet, I get either little or NO response, or people start backing out of it close to the date, so it gets cancelled, am I to take i that you all No longer want meet's? coz to be franc, I feel as though I'm wasting my time. :rant:
