Events - UK

  1. I thought i had already started this thread, but seems not, although was discussed on FB. Great event, raising money for a local hospice. Always a nice turnout of cars. Am organising a club stand. Last time we requested space for 12, based on 9 sign ups, and had 6 attendees. Would like to request 12 again. Who else is up for this? :)

  2. Following my visit to NEC Classic last week, it looks like some 300ZX fans are wishing to put their tires on the Spa Francorchamps Track! Fantastic idea, that probably will stay as a must for future years... I cannot argue on how right they are with this idea, as I did it since 2012, every year, without a possible exception. The event is starting on Friday morning and finishing on Sunday afternoon. This meeting is big, but the feeling is more like a "fans" meeting compared with Le Mans Classic which is just huge. The idea with AndrewG and Funkysi was a meeting for all interested members around 12h00 in Folkestone (tunnel) or Dover (boat crossing) on Thursday, dri…

  4. This is a summer camping show, Friday to Sunday, with a "club" day Saturday and "public" day Sunday. It's fairly new, so quite a small show, but there was lot's going on. Some of us attended on the Sunday last year, and i think we all enjoyed it. They run some very good competition events that involve using your cars, and was a really friendly atmosphere. Car limbo, no stop gravity ball catch, sound offs, etc. Camping Tickets are £24 before 31st March, and £27.50 afterwards. Day pass tickets are £8 before 31st March, £9 afterwards, £10 on the gate. I only live 10 minutes away, but i am considering camping, as the atmosphere there was that good…

  5. Car Cafe XL are holding a free car show at the Runway Visitor Park at Manchester airport, 18/08 8am till 1pm. It's a great venue, we take the kids a lot to watch the planes landing & taking off. Be great to get some zeds there so get your name down. 1. t.mogsy

Victor Gallucci via email vicgallucci1@gmail.com or give him a call with your cars details on 0208 439 7871. 10. Started by bigh,

Hi guys, sorry for not getting this thread going sooner. This year the Event is on July 29th - see link below, on Beaulieu's web site which covers the entire event including ticket prices, that can be bought either on the day, or in advance, through their website. https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-japanese/ I think a lot of members who have attended this in previous years, will agree that this a great day out, with plenty to do for all. Whether with little ones in tow, or just enthusiastic petrol heads, it is situated in lovely surroundings with plenty to see in both the museum, and the cars that attend for the day. I will update this thread …

  11. Hi guys ive got a couple of club stand passes left for TOTB. If anyone wants one let me know. Should be another cracking event with some of the most powerful cars in Europe competing for honours. You will still have to pay an entry fee of £17 to get in but the pass allows you to park in the area right next to the tracks. See you there if you are going.

  12. Started by Funkysi,

Something special for next year:https://rockingham.co.uk/venue-information/showground/ Silverstone would probably be too pricey, but Rockingham could work potentially?

  13. Hi, just been looking through the Event calendar (which is busy:clap:). How are people fixed for either Sunday 5th August or the following 12th?

  14. Started by craig,

  16. Table for 20 is booked 8pm, as they already have a large party in at 5:30. This allows time for everyone to arrive, and for those of us to freshen up on return from Donington F1 collection. I have to send this to the restaurant 1 week before, so please update as soon as you can. Menu http://www.brewersfayre.co.uk/pub-restaurant-menus/Leicestershire/Marina-Hinckley.html Please enter you name and menu choices here, also indicate if you have bought a meal deal as part of the room. I have started the list off, will update once I look at the menu ;-) Name, starter, main, dessert, on a meal deal

  17. As summer is nearly over in Scotland and it's almost time to put the car away for the winter, I thought I'd propose a mid week meet and see who's free. KFC Livingston on Wed 20th June @ 7:30pm If anyone wants to join me, that would be great. I'll be the one wearing the Panama hat stuffing my face with Belgium chocolates and Tunis cake.

  19. Started by zerocooldel,

Anyone up for a wee meet up? maybe a trip down to see jaikais zed?

  20. As discussed on the club weekends thread, please use this thread to sign up and discuss. Saturday 26th to Monday 28th May The proposed agenda for Sunday will be: 2-3 hour drive and stop for lunch. 1 hour drive and stop at Lakeland Museum for a couple of hours. 1.5 hour drive back to hotel. Will update the proposed route on maps later, but the plan is to follow Tony's suggestion. However, as Tony advises, this will depend heavily on weather, as the mountain passes may not be fun in the wet in a zed. So we may spend more time at the museum, or take more main road routes. Depending on what time people arrive Saturday, then we can arrange somethi…

  21. Started by craig,

Anyone interested in going to this? Just got a reminder that club applications have to be in by end of July, so if we want to attend, then need some feedback. It will be really good to attend this NEXT year, for the 30th Anniversary, along with ZClub and others (350/370?), but might be a good idea to show our faces this year if possible? https://www.silverstoneclassic.com/ If any interest, i will register so we can get a club stand code for you to book tickets on.

  22. I am organising a Charity Family Day on Saturday 19th May to celebrate the memory of my friend’s son Shea…who died from cancer aged just 18 in May 2017. A particularly difficult end to a short life blighted by disability….Shea was born with cerebral palsy and was quadriplegic…but was an extremely engaging and intelligent young man with an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of films and football. Shea also had a love of fast cars…having been around the Mercedes World track amongst others….so we thought adding a car theme to the day fits perfectly with his memory. I thought it would be great to get a selection of Zs there to showcase the marque alongside other C…

  23. Hi guys, not sure if anyone else has requested a stand as yet. I have just applied for said stand for 10 spaces, who's up for this? 1. KGONZOKIA

  24. Another show, probably better to apply for passes individually due to time restraints. Meet up and roll in together. Stands are still available but need numbers as there is a £2 per car fee. Generally a decent show with vast variety of vehicles etc. Add below if interested. Will see about organising a stand if enough interest. 1. KGONZOKIA

  25. I sure no one is going to mind me posting the South East Family Fan Day here as we have a few South Coast Zed’s going to this event now. So the plane now for us SCZs is leaving Langstone at 1200, on to Arundel to meet up with Edd at 1230, then meet Ash at Pease Pottage for 1300 before heading to the main event for 1430. Anyone wanting to join our little convoy would be more than welcome and I’m sure Gary would love to see more representation from the 300zx club at his brilliant charity event. :cool3:
