The exhaust note on this system between 1000 to 3000rpm is a really deep powerful one that breaks windows and sets off car alarms as you drive past. P.S I don't think you could compar any Z exhaust to a Nova or escort etc!! After 3000rpm though the sound goes from nice and deep to a sporty noise that is easily bearable at motorway speeds and the X pipe balancer keeps the exhaust note and flow very even. Finally, you won't find a better quality or more expensive system from the U.S. Check your email NICO ;-) Steve Steve

I am gonna buy one of these cars shortly, I was looking at a 1991 Auto Twin Turbo with about 60k on the clock. I really need your honest opinions guys, are they reliable? I don't want to fork out a load of money on something thats gonna give me problems. Its either a 300zx or a supra TT. I would prefer a Z car though!! Your thoughts are appreciated. Dave

I sell it to someone in the U.S. Basically, the B&B is known as the loudest s/s system on the U.S market and it really does make the Z sound twice as powerful. It has quad 4.5" oval tips and the X pipe balancer which is recognised for maximum flow. This cost me over £1000 incl vat, duty and I'll sell it now for £500. Steve

Had my AVC-R fitted today by Bob (cheers mate!). Wondering what you 5-speed owners have used for your settings. I have preset 1.05 mm/Hg, with 68% duty, I have set gear based boost for 3rd gear onwards. 1st & 2nd gear is being taken care of with rpm-based boost (Ne1 @ 2500, Ne2 @ 3000) I have increased the duty on these two rpm bands to 70% to give some extra oomph at low revs in an attempt to reduce spool-up time. Is this ok, or am I totally way-off with my understanding of how this thing works? Dave

Hi all (my first post), I'm shortly hoping to purchase a 300zx. I want a Twin Turbo auto and it's going to be an early model (probably imported). Are there any specifics I should look for/be wary of? I intend taking out a 12-24 month warranty (to cover turbo as well). Does anyone have any info on warranties to avoid (don't want any PITA "don't cover that" conversations with insurance agents!). Seems most of the imports are cloth, I'm waiting on some info for recovering the coachwork in leather but it doesn't seem to be materialising, anyone else have any contacts? Enuff questions already, Cheers.

My clutch is at times seeming to sick causing the engine to rev when at 3500 revs, instead of putting the power down is this the clutch or another problem. I've only been a owner for 4 weeks its a little bit new. If it is the clutch can any one suggest a good garage for a new one Cheers John

You may recall the power light flasing problem, well I don't think it is anything to do with the Auto Transmission. The problem is now more frequent. The car is fine until a shortish journey and the speedo will drop from 40mph to the stop. When it does this the power steering packs up which is quite alarming. The Speedo picks up after 40mph and all is well. Question. Does anyone know where the sensor for the speedo is? Does this fail? Can contacts be cleaned? I think the 16 flashes of the power light are telling me that the speed sensor is buggered. Anyone had this problem? Simon Pass 90 300ZXTT

I have a Jap spec non turbo zx with an automatic box. Can any one tell me what the button 'power/hold' can do for me, and when and where I should use the overdrive. What is the most fuel economic way of using the gear box, and what is the most powerful. cheers, John

Someone might even like to take piccies and post em up here. DaveH , Craig, im looking in your direction :o). Z ya Nico91TT

Hello, I just had my Jap import 300zx non-turbo automatic on the road last night, and I was wondering if any of you could tell me what the service intervals should be. It has 60,000 kilometers on the clock. Someone mentioned to me that I should really change the cambelt. Any thoughts? Cheers, John R

What petrol do Z drivers use ? Does anyone use Super Unleaded or do you all use plain old ordinary unleaded ? Secondly, the tyre pressure chart on my Z import says 2.3 / 2.5 bar for the pressures. Which is for the front and which for the rear ? Thanks
