 As above! Little bit about what has happened, over heated, did a water by pass, dry compression test are as follows, top figure being back of engine closest to the cabinet. Forgot the full throttle bit though! :wack: Driver side 130psi 155psi 170psi Passenger side 155psi 155psi 135psi Opinion please! Take it that it isnt too bad but isnt that great either. The car does still feel a bit slower then before, so I guess the next thing to test for would be a vac leak?

If anyones going this week and hasn't bought an Arena ticket for the Live show, I would reccommend you do :) Not much room for the cars to give it some serious welly and it's dark, but given those circumstances all the those putting on the show do really well, certainly the "steer from the rear" boys with their S15's, 2 of them are modified and throw out some awesome flames :) Oh and it's LOUD!!! 1st- Alloys. What are the best dimensions for both 17 & 18" alloys for the Zed? Reason I ask is with regards to a previous thread I seen regarding back tyres not fitting on the rear.(spotted ones I like but are 17x7 17x8 and 18x8) 2nd- May seem trivial but does anyone know which of these 3 manuals (Haynes, HP, Chilton) is best regarding information and diagrams as I need to order one? Cheers

The other day i noticed my near side front tyre was bald on the inside and out side, so off i went to get a new tyre, thinking its been running under inflated, so i thought i would get the tracking checked while im at is as well. Guy jacked the car up to take the wheel off then went off to get another socket, so i thought i would check the wheel bearing for play, fook me only about 1/4 of an inch play, ffs here we go something else unexpected gone wrong as they do. I had put the whining down to prop centre bearing as getting a little vibration from that and the whining appeared shortly after. So i told the guy forget the new tyre wheel bearing gone and im not paying 100 o…

Awesome bit of kit this, just finished fitting it in the dark and it's like driving a different car! Lights are so much better, stereo is clearer and deeper, pickup is swifter and idle is smoother and quieter. I'll see about fuel economy later :D All in all a wise investment!

Well i got my car back from Paul after its 3 month holiday at swz. Running sweet as when i got it back.. really quick spool up coupled with the new fast road box made for a seriously rapid car now... didnt use it from christmas eve til the following thursday, started it to warm up and when i came back it was smoking like a chimney from the nearside exhaust. Called Paul who came up to collect it the following wednesday (last week) the turbo is now off and I am told has about 4-5mm lateral play in the shaft so has been sent back to Turbo Dynamics. It will be with them tomorrow (why does everything take so bloody long??) To say i am pissed off is an understat…
