for some reason since today a wierd buzzing has started to happen whenever i unlock the car with the cobra remote for the alarm. it sounds like its coming from the rear passenger wheel, at first thought it was the boot lock, then the passenger door but it sounds defo loudest around the passenger wheel area anybody any ideas????? also it starts then sometimes stops really quickly, other times it does it for 20 odd seconds, and it stop / starts if you press down on the rear spoiler near the buzzing???

Been to Cornwall for the week and seen one zed.K Plate N/a outside the Cat & fiddle pub in Bodmin.Anybodys here?

Hey peeps. Noticed this evening when Athene was moving car this evening that there was like a squeaking noise which she said was from the clutch. The clutch does'nt feel any different and not slipping, goes into gear fine. The noise just sounds like a big rusty spring being stretched. It happens both when pressing clutch in and releasing it. Any help and advice would be appreciated as i'm crapping myself thinking its something big and expensive ie we need new clutch or something !!! and it may be nothing to worry about.

Hi out there, I have noticed I have developed a sort of drumming or drone type noise. Not speed related as far as I can tell. I have had a lot ow work done underneath, All bushes on each corner, brakes, disks etc. And have tyres only about 200 miles old. Is this a common thing for our Zeds or is there something happening under there I should know about.

hi all, not long bought my first zed, a 94 n/a import, i was under the bonnet the other day and notice a set of valves i think coming of a pipe from the break master cylinder, think they are after market items, any ideas , many thanks

been chaniging the inner and outer rear balljoints today, got one side done i just over an hour, got the outer balljoint of the otherside out in ten mins, but could we fook get the inner balljoint out, i the end we ended up fookin the threads up on the steering rack so ive decided to get a powertrix eliminater bar and do away with it, just hope danny can get it to me quick as im off the road till i get it sorted

Does anyone know of a supplier in the uk for impul skirts or are they an import only jobbie? :(

hi its rich again with my troublesome z32....well I got it back from the rip off garage and as instructed put in some new plugs and yes you guessed it its still all over the show...this is what happens..from cold start up its on 5 cylinders ,after say a mile its trying to go on six sort of on off...get to a junction at idle then pull away and its (i guess) down to 4 and really labouring....so i get to the pool go for a swim come out after say 40 mins start her up and its back on six running fine!....after say 2 miles of pushing it abit to clear it? back on five etc. Please excuse my ignorance but there is a unit beginning with P that supplies the power to the injecters…

Just near the leisure centre (arena thing??) Kings gate is it? (north gate perhaps) at about 11 ish. Was white on a G plate (Gxx UMW) had a front mount i think and an aftermarket front bumper. Targas off as well! :cool:

Good morning! I heared, the knock sensor only works to max. 3500 revs??? Is that right? Has no sense to me. I thought det only happens at high revs??? Thanks in advance!

Ok probably most of you know wot I´m talking about; eachtime I hit the beach here in Mallorca or go to Ibiza and I see a british car I always noticed many of them have this big Decal bumper sticker in the back window Yellow that states GB! I love collecting these decals and I particular love this yellow one..my question is..where on earth I can buy this? I searched through Ebay differents tores in the Uk and none of them shows them..they only show the blue one with the EU flags and stars...if any of you folks can hit me up on where I can get one would really appreciate that buddies! hi all i have a lumpy engine it does not pull smooth from standstill misses then picks up ,,also it doesn,t feel right as you accelerate .. its a non turbo manual ,,i don,t know about this but the receipts for the new exhaust say the previous owner requested it be decatted and loud as poss which annoys me rather a lot to be truthfull so would that contribute to the lumpyness :mad::headvswal:headvswal:headvswal

ok, ive got a twin intake kit (two apexi's T'd up into a single pipe) and have read several threads about what also needs to be done, but getting confused as some further mods only need to be done with the doolz or seperate filter kits (wideband o2 sensors/twin maf/apexi safc/fook knows what else!). as my kit still only feeds into one pipe, is it just a matter of remapping the chip or is there something else i need to do?

no, theyre not smoking, but i want to smoke them! is this legal? and with a decent beam behind them (say HID) would they still provide any light? im guessing this idea's not going to last long.... :smw:

Chris here Just had my nissan in the garage and been told ive possibly had water leaking into the rear cylinders. (Im a mechanic in the army so i know a little bit but not much about the zeds as cant get to anything to learn) This morning the garage informed me that i would probably need a new head gasket in the near future dont mind as i would pay anything for that car but was wondering if i could get the turbos replaced at the same time to save money due to labour (with the head being off for the gasket change)? what would you suggest are my best options? You may wonder why i would want to change the turbos but thats just me after more power.
