Just thought id update you all on the garage issue. Last wee I upgraded the forums to the latest version for security reasons; however there was an unforeseen incompatibility with the current garage plugin we use, unfortunately I'm heading out the country and it will be at least a week before I can get a proper look into fixing this issue myself of pursuing the creators of the software to release a fix. Apologies on behalf of the committee for the downtime of this feature. Regards Lee

The news are very sad about Barry. I just recieved a short line from his wife telling that Barry passed away on 20 of April. My condoleances to her and the family. I will keep the friendly image from Barry when we met in Manchester end of last year. Enjoy life everybody, because it is too short...

The vBulletin Blogs system has now been activated as i think as a feature it could be used. For all of you that don't know what a blog is heres a definition from wikipedia : It's more or less like the projects pages but for anything you want - zed related. Good news is you can promote any of your posts to your own blog rather than typing them over twice and lastly the blog system is readable without having to logon so you could have a project page and then post the url to it on facebook for all to see. Just remember that the blog system falls under the jurisdiction of the mods just like the forums so any material found to be against the AU…

For those of you that use the mobile app Forum Runner it has now been reinstalled and activated. There was an issue where by certain forums showed up when the user had logged off, this fault has been identified to effect the registered user class in that forum that have permision to view in that class will be visable after you log out. The forums in the registered class only show public information that the current user can see as normal so there is no security risk as far as members seeing sections that they have not subscribed to or are not a member off. I have thoroughly tested this on an iphone 5, 4 and ipad 2 and after reinstallation of the app…
