This isn't to throw scorn on anyone in this situation. But as I'm getting older (I know this is obvious, but just an observation) the amount of single mothers out there is unbelievable. Got a few girls interested in me at the moment and they both have kids and any I do try to get to know also have kids. I don't have kids myself and never will. Just find it really wierd.

and i don't know if its just me imagining it but it seems to have cured my hesitation problem when the car is cold!! wtf is that about?? the z also seems to pull better and even more of a pleasure to drive (touch wood hope nothing is about to break lol) the only thing i can put it down to is the possible inbalance of backpressure on each bank causing the car to run uneven on warm up.. and being straight through boxes there is less restriction releasing potentially lost power. i know na's need back pressure which i am assuming the original jap restrictors and the cats are still creating. please feel free to slate my theory. cos i don't care cos the bea…

Well took my car to RB Motorsports who specialise in skylines are are regarded as one of the best tuners of them on this country so after bribing them to book me in with my zed i have spent several hours trying to sort my problems out. Bad news first, still not boosting properly on the boost controller or wastegate springs!! Good news, checked everything and apart from a sticky BOV everything is fine, they checked both wastegates, turbos, pipework, plumbing etc etc So you may be asking yourself why is it not still boosting right?? well simply its not getting enough air into the turbos to produce enough boost, we have her progressively making boost upto abou…

Just been out and bought myself a new Epson Stylus Photo R220 printer today, for the following reasons..... I own a Lexmark X1180 All-In-One printer, which is OK'ish but I've not been entirly satisfied with it for a while now. At the week end I replaced the colour cartridge with a medium yeild one (£17.99)...... I managed to produce 10 (TEN) CD labels and 12(TWELVE) photo quality DVD jackets before the colour ran out!!! Which is bloody disgusting in my books. Well someone at work had said that they had the Epson R200 printer and they could get the ink cheap and the quality was really good and the ink lasted a long time. So today, with just useing the ink that came …

I can no longer borrow the computer I've been using so need a laptop for work - maybe this afternoon or tomorrow. Has anyone got any recommendations? I only really use it for the internet, word processing, XL spreadsheets (quite big ones) - no games. I need wireless internet too. Any recommendations? Is PC World any good - can I just go there and buy one for £500 odd? Any thoughts would be great! Cheers gents

  20. i.e. a drive that you can remember well because when you got out of the car your hands were shaking, or you suddenly had new found appreciation for a car with proper power. For me, although I remember my first drive home after picking up my first zed, the drive that has never left me was my first trip to Santa Pod in it with some mates. After getting up at 4:45am to shower etc, by the time I got outside to the car, dawn had just broken and the sunrise was just bouncing off the paintwork freshly waxed the night before. There was a little bit of mist at ground level as you get some summer mornings when its going to be another hot day which just seemed to add to t…

It has to be said, and I'm not sugesting any particular person here, that members who are advertising items in the For Sale section, were to post (or have available) decent quality photos of the item they are trying to sell, then there would be no chances of any miss-understandings as to condition and/or type. How many times do you see a post of somthing, even in the Q & A section, where the picture that has been posted has been taken a camera-phone, which, lets be fair, are normally crap!! Either that or the photographer has Parkinsons (not that I'm having a go at anyone who might have Parkinsons). A decent quality Digi-Cam doesn't cost a fortune these days…
