Bought myself an Air compressor and spray outfit yesterday. Got some other bits and bobs too and going to get some air tools next. looking forward to a bit more DiY on the 300. so far I am halfway through the rear end and the front is next. I have learned how to fabricate a couple of fibreglass add ons and the side skirts are going to be shapechanging soon. Its a great way to learn in at the deep end. :eek: ;)

Can anyone recommend a good gear knob for the manual zx? Preferably one that has many lines of symmetry or circular when looking down on it. My current gear knob is facing the wrong way when tightened and is annoying me. Also, are short shifters easy to install? Are they worth having and do they take existing knobs? Thanks Al

A full leather retrim is sitting somewhere near the top of my 'to do' list. I was just thinking that it might be a good idea to update some of the old black plasticy switches to match the fresh new leather. Things like window switches, mirror switches, door handles, vents etc etc. Maybe some brushed alloy ones or soemthing. Anyhoos, has anyone done something like this? Is it easy? Any idea where to buy something like this without having to pay mage bucks at an audi dealer or something? Cheers Scott

I hate living in ireland it has just been fully established. My mate rang me yesterday asking did i want to go to the british superbike championship which was due to be on in mondello park today just outside dublin. as anyone would i jumped for the opitunity. when we got their it turned out she forgot to mention we had paddock passes aswell. brilliant then it turned out we were also on the list to get in stobart honda's suite. grand went in had a meal and then after all that the race was called off due to the rain. so that was the first downfall. got to the car and it turned out it was a bit mucked in. pushed it out and drove to the exit which was that mucky a tractor was…
