General Discussions - Non 300ZX

I have my car on SORN at the moment and its ran out of MOT today. I know you can drive a car with no MOT if your taking it for and MOT and thats the only reason your driving it. I also know that you were able t do this if the car has no road tax. Because you need an MOT to get it taxed. This was true back in 2010 but I was wandering if you guys are aware of the law changing at all??

My mrs sold her Restricted Bandit 400 a couple of months ago as she'd done her 2yrs so could get bigger bike, she's bought this ................. Got delivered tonight from Dundee, so we went for a spin, she's in front for now !!! Lol .......... She's well chuffed :)

Whilst my bodywork is being completed I wouldn't mind sorting out my interior and door cards from the greyish 80s sofa look to something good like black leather look to match my seats. Question is what's best to buy and how would I go about it is there any threads relating to this as I know some of you guys have done this with your Zeds. John.

I was reassembling my targa panels, now I have a set of exterior body panels the same colour, and was attempting to reaffix the weather strips after wrapping them in vinyl. The problem is the little white clips that sit in the weatherstrip channels are basically past their best and it's not going to enable a proper weather tight seal. So I'm thinking ... why not 3d print some new ones? Can anyone recommend a good cleaner for my Samsung vdu? The monitor itself doesn't have a glass front screen and tbh I haven't got a clue what it's made from. I've tried a few products from your usual cheap screenwipes, polish, windowlene and Autoglym Fast Glass. All of them leave faint smudges though. I'm crap at cleaning windows etc so I might be doing it wrong:surrender:. So if you have any tips, i'll happily take them :)

Gutted i'm not going but the zed is playing up just changing all of the injector and coil pack connectors. The main thing is that my dog is in poor health, he was 13 on Sunday but noticed his rear was getting very thin after the vet done scans and a biop, were waiting for the results. He can not hold his bowls and i had to clean the house several times on Sunday. we will find out in the next cuople of days but the vet had hold us to expect the worst. Hi lee I'm wanting to changing a couple of the new changes that are getting on my nerves a little and I'm wondering if I can turn them off. The most annoying one is this horrible yellow box telling me I have unread Pm's. I know I do but it's just in the way. I know I can click hide box but then as soon as I refresh the page or click on something it comes straight back. Can I get rid of this please? Second, when someone quotes me a get a pm. Can I turn this off? Or can you make my pm box huge? Thanks, Lee

Hi, My PC decided to reboot itself today and I've lost a months worth of emails in my inbox. I looked up the inbox.dbx file using a repair tool and the emails are listed but it costs £50 odd quid for the program. Does anyone have or know of anything that can get my emails back? It's in Outlook Express 6 and I'm running XP. Cheers Vijay

my uncle looking for a jag and one popped up and rang alarm bells striaght away, he had seen it on autotrader at 17k, it then popped up on ebay i think he said for 9K as a must sell quick car is in germany (munich to be precise), he was told to put the money into holding for 5 days with ebay, then they will ship the car within that time, if he is happy with it he can release the money to them sounds like a scam to me and im sure ive read on here or another forum where a member was caught out the same way has anyone ever heard of a scam like this, the story goes that they travelled to germany in it and are not coming back so must ship it back, seems dodgy to…

DONT buy off these people We bought these blanking plugs/hose bungs, brand new supposedly. Now, anyone buying anything as 'bling' for this purpose obviously has an engine intended to SHOW yeh? I was about to say, before the thread was closed unnecessarily by Gary... If you think of it this way, even the crappest breakers bring around 2K in bit as a general minimum, the forum is only asking for £50 for the exposure, and at the end of the day, there are more than one breakers on a forum so the 3 car restriction is there to keep trade fair. ... no friction causing intended Gary... does that clear me?
