apologies if been posted before i want one might try to build one

my mate at work has got some prob with his laptop and needs help, it's a dell and running xp on it. when trying to play cd's / dvd's they seem to stutter all the time. tried to play them on media player and itunes and it still does it. the only thing i've done recently is install office xp ,nero and dvd shrink anyone got any ideas as to what could cause it, it's like trying to play a cd when itunes is importing it at the same time.

Anyone use the above site for 'back-up' copies of thier dvd and game covers? ;) Well if you do, and haven't been on since the 1st January, the sites changed a bit, and if you have it bookmarked in Faves it may not work! New site address is http://www.cdcovers.cc/covers (or without the /covers for the Home page) You might think that's the same as before, but the covers index page had .php at the end, so that no longer works :D Anyway I just thought I'd let you know in case you didn't ;) Dave

Thought i'd show you guys these pics, taken today of a rover 75 with headgasket failure, the mechanic is a mate of mine and had this car in for the said job, he was utterley gobsmacked at the state of it. The owner reckons it had only just started to show any signs of gasket failure! (He's lying!). He reckons this is just one of the reasons rover went under, using cheap crappy parts like this headgasket, from a buisness point of view he loves rovers, they keep him busy. I liked to play stuff like quake, duke, castle wolfenstein on the PC a while ago and its great with a mouse cos you can aim all around with it and shoot the f**k out of things But just tried playing on the PS2 and how the hell are u supposed to do it with them silly little joysticks? when you try to aim up you end up looking at the sky and when you aim down you can only shoot yourself in the feet as the whole field of vision moves not just the weapons aim. any gamers here know how to make it easier.

So i bought myself a cheapo multilayered candle from the petrol station (vanilla, coffee, chocolate etc) flavours to burn in my room and work like an air freshener. Works a treat Today, bro comes in and asks if i could come and help move his tv about with him. I lean directly over the top of the candle blow hard without thinking and 2 seconds later realise the burning, tight feeling over my face and the fact i'm blind is the fact my face is coated in 100s of scalding droplets of candle wax. I have a mate who is trying to map an omex ecu, the map was transferred no problem previously with winmap2000 but he has 3000 and is wondering if this could be the reason he cant upload the map from his laptop to the unit. Any help would be appreciated from you lovely knowledgable people..
