I have to rebuild a pc and can't find my xp pro disks anywhere. I might bite the bullet and convert to Linux. It's only used for video/music edititng and a bit of web development so it doesn't need lots on it. What do you guys think? Anyone here tried it?

Every so often when I boot up my PC the USB mouse dosen't work. Thi means I either need to reboot, with perhaps the sae problem, or unplug the mouse and plug it back in. Any advice would be appreciated. Darrell

after yet another enviromental news story on air travel being bad this morning i thought it was worth re-reading the data on jet engines as i'm a bit of a skeptic so went looking for the mpg of a jet i saw an engineer quote that the service intervals on some jet engines can be +500,000 miles too so maybe we can put that particular global warming argument to bed now :p
