Hi people, I was just wonderign if anybody here knows of any insurance companies that does cheapish car insuracne for young drivers. I passed my practical exam yeasturday and hopefully be driving soon, but insurance prices don't help because of loads of 'chavs' on the roads driving lik f*kin tw@ts making other young drivers pay for it. Iv been searching about and the cheapest iv got is £1287.33 :headvswal this is on 1998 toyota corolla 1.3 searching only for 3rd party fire and theft lol. I have been away a long time, mainly due to a certain garage making a mess of my car but thats not a story for here! Its got 3 metres of hose and of course the efficiany decreases the longer you go. But I need longer than 3 metres. Prob 4 or 5 (can be arsed to go in loft and measure) Will it still be good enough? or would I need to fans inline?

I have a hp laserjet. Tried to print something this morning. Colour cartridge is working fine. Black ink cartridge stopped working completely. Put new black cartridge in and it does nothing at all. So if the cartridge is OK, why would it not print anything (not even faint lines). The colour cartridge is still working ??????? Any advice appreciated.

i've only had my car now for about 2 weeks, was driving along the m74 earlier today to take the car to the jetwash. was tootlin down the motorway at a steady 80-ish mph ( :rolleyes: ). i look in my rearview and see a dark merc e-class come up behind me really fast flashin his lights. :x: . thought it was the cops, absolutely cacked meself :eek: he then pulls along side me as he took the next slip road, it was a middle aged man driving with his family (kids in the back!!!!) just to wave and give me the thumbs up! :hyper: has this happened to anyone else?

I want to put a medium sized ( about 21" CRT) TV on a DVD player. There are no vents in the top of the DVD player. Any idea if it'll be ok or the weight or something will knacker it? Cheers!

hi peeps a mate of mine has just told me that some goverment rule might be coming into effect that if you cars engine is over a 2.5l you will be charged 1800 quid for your road tax...........has anyone else heard about this as my kidney is too dodgy to sell for my tax ans i havent enough petrol to get down to london and protest outside the Blairs house...............someone put my mind at rest as i am loosing sleep :headvswal
