I've just started using torrent downloaders and have managed to download One foot in the Algarve. Ok, so it's downloaded 100% but I can't get the ****in thing to play at all! I've tried two different torrent applications, one specifically with a media player on it, but it just won't even search. Is there something blindingly obvious I'm not doing?

Looks like the washing machine's knackered (rust coming off aqnd marking washing). So we need get a new one... Any advice? Are washer/driers any good? The Mrs would like one but I wonder if they're expensive to run. I don't know anything about any of them.

I bought myself a fancy little MP3/video player from Amazon and it arrived this morning. i want to transfer my MP3s over but first I need to refresh all the ID3 tags so they're correct (as in not saying 'Various Artists' or 'get music from www.blahblah.com' etc) I downloaded a nice little batch converter called ID3 Renamer, which would update the ID3 of each MP3 from its filename. so if the filename was: C:\my\music\mp3\trance\amara - pulse.mp3 ...then it would set the ID3 Genre to 'Trance', the ID3 artist to 'Amara' and the title to 'Pulse'. sexy bit of kit and absolutely free. i batch convert some files to test them, and when i right-click on them in a nor…

Ive only ever had kidneys in steak and kidney pies and stuff like that and they taste really nice. The other day i had a mixed grill which came with 2 kidneys, they looked pretty wierd as they were whole but i had a nibble and they were ok. Then for some stupid reason i decided to give them a sniff, omg, im never eating them again, they smell horrible, like a urinal. I know that the kidney does something with the wee in your body, but surely its not meant to smell like that when there cooked? Has anyone else noticed this? Also what animal does the kidney come from?
