For those interested: ditched the old name and now have a new site: http://www.myspace.com/thisburningage Aside from the tunes on the player, there's live music vids of Smashing Pumpkins, NIN, Ian Brown and Biffy Clyro in the blog. Plus a relatively amusing story involving Biffy Clyro's Dad and the quest for tickets. All of which is true, bizarrely. Check it out if you have the time.

I am looking for a 22 inch monitor for a new pc I am buying thats coming next week. Prices vary from 160 upwards. Anyone bought one recently, have one, any input welcome. The PC I am buying was spec'd for gaming so thats why I dont want to jump in and buy the cheapest monitor. Cheers John

I just wanna say a big thanks to andy duff for his help tonight, long story short my zed broke down with a dead battery, not the end of the world but panic kicked in, and i rang him, thanks to Lee (bird) for his number  andy gladly helped me by talking me through what to do and not to do, basicly it needs a new battery and the altenator belt adjusting so this is getting done tommorrow, so again thanks andy your a star, and i think i will be getting it booked in to get the PCV valves done after xmas.    :hyper: :hyper: ohand thanks to my mate Daz who travelled 30 miles with some jump leads.

Heard some rumours that they are going to stop using certain types of car paints (not sure but maybe 2k paints) because of environmental reasons. Instead use some sort of water-based paints. Is this true or has someone been winding me up? Apparently the new paints are more expensive and going to put smaller businesses out of business.  :nelson: Thanks Paul

Bought what I though was a tidy 1999 LPG vectra on Saturday. All was going well until until it died on me on the way to work this morning  . Turns out that one of the coilpack drive outputs from the ECU is fed to the LPG computer. The wire used was about as thick as my iPod headphone wire and it has shorted out to the engine block. So far I have discovered that the ECU output on cylinder 1 is fooked and coil number 1 has gone into meltdown. Ran an ECU diag last night (before all this happened) and it reported a dodgy MAF (seller told me this was the only fault,) knock sensor on cyl 4, an air temp sensor and an exhaust gas sensor faulty. I feel like I'…

As above...... ......how bloody stupid is it, that the DVLA close their tax-disc renewal page for maintenance at the end of a month??? Surely they know that's when most people will be trying to renew their tax disc  Or maybe that's their evil plan - to make everyone late so the b@stards can fine us all   Richard ;)
