I was out in cardiff bay last night having a meal with chips. The waitress gets the red sauce for me the heinz glass bottle one. So i decide to shake it up, only when im doing this do i realise i dont have my finger on the top, "oh no" thinks i. Que a whole bottle of red sauce on the passing waitress :slap: one of those times you realise it's just too late :rofl: come on add yours to the list :tongue:

Heard this week that friend of mine was killed in a car accident this week - the cause of death was not the accident itself but the airbag. What happened was that she was a passenger in her sons car and had her handbag on her lap - when the airbag deployed the handbag was forced under her ribcage, breaking some ribs, which resulted in a punctured heart and other internal organ damage. The son survived with minor bumps and bruises. So the advice is - don't have anything on your knee if traveling as a passenger in the front seat of a car with airbags. Safe motoring everyone...........................................

Hi folks Can anyone recommend a good soundcard for vista,got a onboard 7.1 but it wont work my 5.1 setup even though it says its compatible however would prefer a separate card,always had soundblaster in the past but when i got vista that wasnt supported either...alongside most of the other hardware:rofl: cheers

not me, my mum got a phone call today saying that my mum had been took to hospital with suspected heart failure, scared the fookin shite out of me, she has a dodgy ticker anyway but to hear that on the phone knock's you for six, been up the hospital today and its a problem with the left side of her heart, they aint ruling heart failure out but its not as bad as first thought, they may be able to controll or repair (with surgery) or it may not be failure at all but something else, we are waiting for results, she is fully conciuos and ok (early stages) first time in years ive let my gaurd down and actually shed tear's, had to go and sit in the works an and compos…

Been at a company (my first propper job) for just over a year now and have been on a starting wage. Anyway i work bloody hard and have a lot of responsability and had nothing to show for it so been on at my boss for ages about money and finaly got a payrise, it's nearly what i wanted too :) So beers on me :duffer:

any of you PC boffins hep me out. I've been running 2gb of RAM on my MOBO ( ASUA A8V delux) with no probs . all in the right slots etc. I've just put another 2gb of the same RAM ie make , speed etc. and now the MOBO still only shows 2gb Even a BIOS update didn't fix it The RAM is 4 x 1gb pc3200 400hz dual

Was looking at a sensible replacement for my zed and have been looking at a few T6 Volvo S80's. Did a search on here to see if the was any info and found a pic of Vinnyboys old car that matched one is saw on ebay. Does anybody know of any good books for teaching yourself mechanical engineering basics. I'm looking for something not too heavy that covers all the basics in detail and isn't too "noddy". any help appreciated
